Step-it-Up Challenges started in 2013 and involved both Team and Individual Targets
Team Challenge :
A team of 3 with a target of 1,300,000 combined steps for the month of December 2013.
An average of 13,979 steps-per-day per person !
The competition has two options with prizes for each challenge:
* Finish 1.3M Steps as soon as possible within the 31 days, or
* See how many Steps your team can log within the 31 days.
Individual Challenge: One Million Steps in 12 weeks
You log your daily Steps via a simple form on Google Drive which enables you to see your Log (or Team's log) immediately.
Rankings are formally updated on a weekly basis with intermittent updates possibly during the week.
RESULTS:
See the 1 Million Steps, Wall of Honour.
See the 500,000 Steps, Wall of Honour.
See the Step it Up 13, Wall of Honour.

12 weeks x 11,905 steps per day = 1 Million Steps.

Anybody & everybody !
All shapes and sizes.
Previous participants have ranged in age from 11 to 72.
Challenge your partner, kids, sibling or parents - the more involved the greater your motivation and support.
WHY ?
Move more to lose weight, increase fitness, boost your self confidence, and increase your energy and general well being !
Motivate, inspire and influence others along the way.
HOW ?
We track steps using your own electronic pedometers.
WHERE ?
Anywhere anytime !
Log steps while talking on the phone, on your lunch break, waiting for the kettle to boil . . .
Step it Up a Fox group sessions will also be organized over the 12 weeks.
The group sessions will target high repetitions and incorporate stairs, walking, running, skipping...
RECORDING YOUR STEPS
We will be using an Online Google Document that you can use to enter your daily steps.
Data Entry can be done for the previous day (preferable), or at anytime for the previous unrecorded days.
This system creates a leader board and shows you your daily average steps - to keep you motivated and on track.
PRIZES
There will be random prizes drawn over the 12 weeks as well as final prizes and awards.
Prizes include free Group and Personal Training sessions, gear, clothing, gift certificates, and more . . ..
